Palliative Care Service to June 30th 2024 (updated 29th March)

Community Pharmacies in Walsall provide out-of-hours palliative care services throughout the week as well as weekends and BHs.

The document below contains full details of the on-call  pharmacist up to 1st January 2024.

Please make sure you only contact the pharmacist on the rota for the day you need a supply.

Prescribers: be advised that pharmacies are facing out of stock issues, if possible, please contact the pharmacy before prescribing.

With the exception of Bank Holidays, the weekend Rota service covers 18:30pm Saturday to 6.30am Monday. Please make sure you only contact the pharmacist on the rota for that day.

Specialist palliative care medicines are stocked by all pharmacies on the rota and can be obtained during their business hours.

Asda Stores Ltd St Lawrence Way, Darlaston , Wednesbury, West Midlands, WS10 8UZ  will also be holding these specialist medicines during their extended normal opening hours:
