Walsall LPC/Black Country Toolkit

As part of RSG proposals to transform contractor representation, Walsall LPC are asking all our contractors to support the Committee’s workplan using the Black Country LPC Comms Toolkit attached below.

Short term:

  1. In line with PSNC recommendations, Walsall LPC seek to further extend the period of office of the current committee to June 30th 2023
  1. 2. Name change: LPC Committee to be known as Community Pharmacy Walsall
  1. Community Pharmacy Walsall to adopt the model constitution recommended by PSNC with the amendment to numbers (5.1) changing:

“The Committee shall determine the number of members of the Committee as 10, 11 or 12 members, provided that this properly represents the contractors in the area for which the LPC is formed.”  to

“The Committee shall determine the number of members of the Committee as a maximum of 8 members, provided that this properly represents the contractors in the area for which the LPC is formed.”

The Toolkit includes a voting form for your answers.

Longer term:

The 4 Black Country LPCs will work towards a merger into Community Pharmacy Black Country to mirror the BC ICS per the “joint position statement” Document 2 (p3) in the Toolkit.
